INTO_DUTCH offers exciting language learning programs, individual or in small groups.

WHO AM I?
Jeremine Holt
I’m Jeremine, course creator, language tutor, freedom seeker, entrepreneur, artist, and neurodiverse parent of a neurodiverse daughter. A person with a mission.
For 25 years I taught design and communication while running my own design studio. But raising my special needs daughter as a single parent changed everything. Keeping up with my previous life? Impossible.
So, I found another way. Online. I got my master’s in e-learning and launched The Course Masters Academy to help like-minded people create their own online courses.
Now, I live in Sweden, in a little house in the forest. And I teach Dutch to students worldwide, run thriving 1:1's and group courses, and coach others to create their own online tutoring businesses. All while enjoying the beautiful nature here.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is immersive language learning?
Children don't have to learn grammar or vocabulary, they are surrounded by the language and their brain just picks up on it. They remember sentences and sounds and bit by bit they start speaking. Immersive language learning is quite similar. We use Dutch as much as possible, even if you don't know the precise grammar or every single word yet. That can be done through stories, exercises, questions, games, pictures, research and so on. The themes we work on will be themes that make you curious and learn more than just the language..
How do we start?
Learning a new language is very personal. Everyone has a different starting point and everyone has different ideas about how they like to learn. Also: your native language has a huge influence on the grammar, words and pronunciation you're familiar with. We can't start without having this mapped out. In a curiosity call we will talk about this. And more.
When are the group lessons?
The Beginners group is every Monday from 17:00 - 18:20 and the Intermediate group is every Thursday from 17:00 - 18:20.
I don't do replays, so you're either in or out. Of course you can still have access to the resources and assignments of each week.
The group sessions will be our playground, but apart from that we have a membership vault for extra material and inspiration. And during the week you will get an assignment to do so you can use Dutch in new and creative ways.
I want to practice conversation, can I do that with you?
Yes, but not in a group setting. We don't want to spend our time listening to other students that aren't fluent yet.
To practice conversation you need 1:1 lessons. And yes, I offer those too. That is the heart of INTO_DUTCH.
You can reserve time with me to practice conversation, either in 25 or in 50 minute sessions.
I'm a total beginner, does that matter?
For total beginners I advice to start with 1:1 lessons. That way you can get tailored language learning lessons to get you started.
